The TDGA typically runs two events every week.

- Saturday Event: PDGA League or Handicap Round at 9:00 am or 9:30 am depending on time of year.
- Tuesday Event: Doubles at ~5:45 pm at Tom Brown during the Spring and Summer months. Starting March 14th 2023 and ending September 26th. Doubles are randomly paired using Austin Coding Academy's site.
Ace Funds
There are only two ace funds, one for singles during league/handicap rounds, and the other during doubles. They all cap at $250 and only ONE fund is in play during a round.

Events
We use Google Forms to do sign-ups for all events. Sign-up for Saturday events open on Sunday/Monday and close on Friday at 6:00 pm. There will not always be in person sign-ups so please make sure to use the online sign up and pay using the link at the bottom of this page. Tuesday event sign-ups open on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning and close on Tuesday at 4:30 pm. Payments for doubles will be in cash.

PDGA League
PDGA League will be played raw scores using divisions based on PDGA rating or self-proclaimed skill level. When choosing a division please select the highest possible that fits your skill level. If you play other PDGA events that cause your rating to go up and change divisions you will not be able to carry PDGA Points to the new division. Playing in each weekly event; players will receive a round rating.
2023 League will be an 8-week league July 8th through August 26th with 6 weeks playing the short pads and 2 weeks playing the long pads.
Cost: $5/$6 PayPal Entry being used with minimal cash entry.

- $2 Club Fee – $.50 per player goes to PDGA plus initial $25 set up fee. PayPal fees: 3.49% + $.49 (Example $5 would be $.67 returning $1.33 to the club).
- $3 Event Purse – payout by division based on raw score for that event.
- $1 Ace Fund – Optional Member-Only Payout
- League limited to MPO, MA1-4, MA40+, Female, and Juniors.
- TDGA Points awarded for each event attended to Elite level members. 5 points for short pads and 10 points for long pads.
Handicap Rounds
Handicap rounds are only played at Tom Brown and Jack McLean. Regardless of your skill level, handicaps are designed such that everyone plays against their own handicap average with the winner beating their own average by more than everyone else. A player establishes a handicap by playing at least 3 official rounds of 24. The club will keep scores for any player member or not to help facilitate getting a handicap established. *This event will be free, no payouts, to any member or non-member without a handicap.
Cost: Free*/$5/$6 PayPal Entry being used with minimal cash entry.

Currently this would include Tally Hills and Millstone with potentially Buck Lake being added to the roster. It will be ran exactly like a League round only change is its not PDGA sanctioned, thus no rating is awarded after completing the round.
Cost: $5/$6 PayPal Entry being used with minimal cash entry.

Doubles
Doubles is set up as "Best Shot" Doubles. Players are matched up by random draw. Both players throw from the tee pad. Then the team chooses which of the resulting lies to continue play from and throw again. The team continues this pattern until the hole is completed. In Best Shot doubles, the second player does not throw if the first player has holed out.
Cost: $5/$6 Cash Entry being used with minimal PayPal entry.

Final event of the year that will be like a league round in setup. Free to all members as the purse is paid from part of your membership fee. We will also have our luncheon following this event!
